One of my favourite trips was to the amazing United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 city Dubai. This was like my first trip here, as I visited 13 years ago! So much has changed. What a beautiful city with amazing views and great weather.
I stayed at Le Royal Meriden Resort and Spa Jumeirah Beach. Lovely hotel 4/5 star hotel in a great location. I would highly recommend travelling to Dubai. If you haven’t been there, get it on your list of places to go. There’s lots of places to go and see and I didn’t even cover half of it. I was there for a long weekend of 4 full days, and I crammed in as much as possible.
Places I would recommend visiting is the Burj Khalifa and if you’re going to do it, go right to the highest point possible which is the 148th floor. Views are amazing, the best time to go is either sunrise or sunset.
The Dubai Mall is also a must see. Even if you don’t like shopping, it’s great to just see the enormity of it. It’s absolutely huge with every shop you could possibly think of. It also has an aquarium inside, various eateries including the Rainforest Cafe. You also access the Burj Khalifa through this mall so you may as well kill two birds with one stone! 😜
If you’re like me and like to go to wine bars or clubs in the evening to shake a leg then here are a few spots for you to check out. Tree House at the Taj, 360 Jumeirah, White, Zero Gravity and Armani Prive. All of those except Armani Prive have amazing views of the city.
I love to chill by pool and beach topping up my tan so having a hotel on the beach was perfect for me. However if you don’t have that, you can always visit Zero Gravity for the day. For a small fee you can chill out there all day. They also give you a voucher to use on food or drinks. It’s a really nice tranquil atmosphere in the day. Oversized mattress sun beds for sharing or individual sun loungers all surrounding an infinity pool, a jacuzzi and overlooking the beach with amazing views of the city. It’s also wine bar club by night. Nasimi Beach Atlantis is very similar with great beach parties!
I will definitely be going back to Dubai and trying an excursion through the desert 🌵 a helicopter ride and definitely the Atlantis waterpark.
Until next time stay cool, stay safe, stay blessed and most of all stay being you!
